The "Sword" is a discipleship ministry for men. It's focus is for men to disciple other men, one-on-one just like the Bible tells us to ministry.The Bible says that all Christians have spiritual gifts that should be used to minister to one another. Here are some Bible verses that relate to ministry and one-on-one interactions:

• Ephesians 5:19-21 " 19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God."

• 1 Corinthians 12:7 "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal."

• 1 Corinthians 12:11 "But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will."

• ​1 Peter 4:10 " As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.""

OUR OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of this ministry is to one-on-one meet men at their need. In providing this ministry to men. Each man you joins this ministry is led to ministry to another man one-on-one to achieve the objective of discipleship. Once discipleship is accomplished then each man moves to build a relationship with another man to continue discipleship one-on-one. This ministry does not require you to be part of GIG bible studies or other ministry membership. It does require that each man be a faithful follower of Christ and has met the discipleship requirements. At the heart and center of this ministry is to build men to be Kingdom Men in the eyes of Christ.
